May Lindstrom Skin (est. 2012) is a pioneering luxury skincare company on a mission to bottle a catalyst for self-care and connection to one’s skin, with a commitment to honoring the integrity of each plant and raw ingredient it lovingly and meticulously sources for its formulas. The collection offers comfort-food for one’s skin, cocooned in luxury. Handcrafted using only the finest nutrient-rich ingredients from around the globe, all of its gourmet skin treats are made in micro batches within its Los Angeles based apothecary kitchen.

Since infancy, May Lindstrom's skin was the focus of heightened attention. Her parents discovered she was highly sensitive to glues, dyes, synthetic fragrance, preservatives, and a long list of irritants found in the products that came into contact with her skin—blisters, rashes, spots of eczema, and various forms of dermatitis erupting when out of balance. She struggled with skin that kept her in a constant state of fear and discomfort.

 

In her adulthood, May immersed herself in the study of plant medicine and ultimately created formulas targeted to her own challenges and goals. She then went on to tailor individual formulas to meet the heightened needs of her bespoke clients. In 2012, the May Lindstrom Collection was officially launched with its first retail partner.

May Lindstrom Skin conducts extensive means to ensure that the ingredients for its hand made skin treats are procured with the highest sustainable, ethical, and qualitative standards. They only select ingredients that are: organic, bio-dynamic, wildcrafted, and cruelty-free. Their gourmet skin treats are free from fillers, parabens, propyleneandbutylene glycols, petroleum, sulfates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, phthalates, GMO, silicones, pesticides, artificial dyes, fragrances, and carcinogens. The entire collection is soy, wheat, and gluten free as well.
